Will Norrington
From as far back as he can remember, Will has only ever wanted to entertain. He started as a young Drama student to then moving on to studying Performing Arts where he gained top grades and valuable experience in all aspects of performing, from comedy acting to singing and dancing, from school and college shows, to sell out theatre productions.Will has also worked with many diferent artists and bands, lending his vocal to various studio projects and summer festivals. Looking to break his way into the acting industry, Will was then introduced to Mike Hobday through a mutal friend at a local talent show. They were asked to perform together at a summer fete and they have never looked back since! From here they became best friends and formed an unbreakable and magical on stage chemistry, that plays a huge part in their success and repuation as one of the most successful duos around. Together they coreograph their trade mark dance moves and charismatic on stage jokes and banter!
Will's desire to make the next performance better than the last plays a big part in Old Hat's never failing to satisfy their audience. Will's acting and theatre training ensures that Old Hat's performance is as entertaining visually as it is musically.
Mikey Hobday
Mike or 'Mikey' as his adoring fans best know him, started out in a hugely successful and popular boy band called 'HEAT'. Here he gained priceless experiences, performing to sell out audiences (lots of screaming girls!) and various TV appearances. So now, this leads him to being the other half of one of the most enthusiastic duo's around! Whilst being at the start of their huge success, Heat found themselves a man down when a member had decided to part ways. Mike decided to go to a local talent show to look out for a replacement where he saw a certain Will Norrington perform! He had found the new member! However Heat sadly went their separate ways, but Mike and Will decided to team up regardless. Old Hat was born! Mike has a huge talent for music. He has worked with many different musicians and bands including local band 'Rio' where he was a lead vocalist and kepyboard player. Mike has also worked all over the world arranging albums and recording vocals for many different artists earning him a highly reputable name within the industry.
Mike's pitch perfect ear for music and endless experience in working with the best of the best ensures that Old Hat deliver a musical performance of the highest level to each of their growing audiences time and time again.
