New Years Eve

60th birthday party new years eve 2014
I originally attended a party where Old Hat Duo were performing and made the decision there and then to book them for my 60th party.
Glen has been the contact from the beginning (booking etc.) throughout the year and finally to the evening of the party where Glen was the DJ.
The playlist and Old Hat Duo's (Will and Mikey) two singing slots were coordinated with the evening events (guests arriving and serving the buffet etc.) and were professionally organised and to my personal requirements. Several times during the evening Glen checked that I was happy with all they were doing and if I wanted anything altered. All my guests were delighted with Old Hat Duo with all very positive comments, some taking their card for possible future bookings. I thoroughly recommend Old Hat Duo to all those wanting to have their event to be a great success and rememberable as mine was.

Hosting a party for all your friends and family can be stressful enough, let alone trying to make everyone feel relaxed and commence mingling! However we shouldn’t have worried…..Glen turned up and instantly put us all at ease….his caring, warm and ‘take-charge’ attitude allowed us to forget about the minor details and get on with the fun. It was like having your own hands-on wedding planner but without the wedding!

And….that was before his act 2-Shoes had even turned up!

The girls were amazing, warm, gracious and just the best fun you could ever have hoped for. A complete range of entertainment to suit everyone.

To receive ongoing comments along the lines of “That was by far the best Party I’ve ever been too” days after the event should say it all really…

Thank you Glen for all your hard work, attentive consideration and professionalism and not forgetting the two happy-go-lucky Essex girls. Thank you all for making my Joanne’s 40th Birthday THE PARTY of the year.

'We are so, so pleased that we booked Glen for our party.

The atmosphere was fantastic and I can't remember a time during the whole night when the dance floor was empty. Glen asked us in advance if there were any particular songs that we would like played, he took the time to find out the sort of music that we liked which we thought was great, the music was fantastic all night long.....we even asked him to stay for an extra hour!!!

Sorry its taken so long to reply but as always Im busy busy busy. All of the guests without exception have commented on how good the day was especially the entertainment that you and old hat provided. In general the way you performed and acted when not in the limelight was excellent and i would have no qualms about recommending you to friends and family. Timekeeping was excellent you delivered everything in terms of quality and service that was above expectations. I was very happy with the party and it's atmosphere. You were nice and early and all set up in good time. You looked clean, smart and approachable.

Music was good, got my guests dancing, only small criticism was sometimes slightly too loud. Pleased you found the Katy Perry birthday song.

Lighting was great and enhanced the marquee and created a great atmosphere, like walking into a club, which was cool.

Service through booking very good. Returned phone calls, helpful etc.

Feedback from guests was also very good.

Martin: Hi Glen, The guys were excellent!!! As it was a surprise Party Clare had no Idea they were coming, We were on holiday in Hawaii the week before and there was a lavish wedding reception at the hotel we were staying at and Clare remarked she would not want any of that and would prefer Old Hat any day (right result – I thought to my self) When they walked in Clare was so pleased she started screaming in excitement and then they started screaming in fear !!! they were totally professional, had every single person up dancing they even let Clare sing a number or 2
